How to get to Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort - Tioman Island?
To arrive at Tunamaya Tioman Island Resort, guests must undergo TWO essential sea transfers: initially, a public ferry from a mainland jetty,
followed by a transfer from Kg Genting jetty on Tioman Island using our resort's speedboat. Please note, we do not offer any land transfer services to our resort.

Choosing Your Jetty:
You can either drive or take a bus to one of these jetties, where you'll catch the public ferry to Tioman Island:
- Mersing Jetty, Johor
- Tg Gemok @ Teluk Gading Jetty, Pahang

You have the choice between TWO public ferry services

How to Purchase Your Ticket:
- Select your departure jetty (Mersing, Johor or Tg Gemok, Pahang).
- Choose "Pulau Tioman (Kg Genting Jetty)" as your destination.
- Pick your travel dates, preferred time, and enter the number of passengers.
- Confirm the price and purchase your ticket.
- Confirm your boarding pass by checking in your ticket online a day before departure.
After Booking Your Ferry:
Please email us your ferry schedule and Booking ID at rsvn.tbsr@careluxuryhotels.com so we can arrange the pickup service at Kg Genting Jetty.
Upon Arrival at Mersing / Tg Gemok Jetty:
- If driving, park at the jetty's guarded carpark (RM15/day).
- Present your ferry check-in number at the ticket counter to receive your boarding pass.
- Wait in the boarding area for your ferry.
- Aboard the ferry for a 1.5 - 2-hour journey to Kg Genting Jetty.
Upon Reaching Kg Genting Jetty:
- Disembark and wait at the Kg Genting pier.
- Look for our speedboat marked "Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort" or our boatman in green uniform or with signage of Tunamaya.
- Follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and board our resort speedboat.
- The resort is just a 15-minute boat ride away!
Please note there may be slight delays in speedboat arrivals due to sea conditions or weather. Ferry schedules are managed by the ferry operators;
for changes or additional timings, please contact them directly.
